Looking for a Great San Diego Excursion? Go to San Diego Bay
When on vacation in San Diego, plan to spend at least one day at San Diego Bay. There are lots of options to chose from. Right now there are great San Diego vacation deals available. There are too many things to do at the San Diego Bay to do them all in one day. Plan to take at least one Harbor tour. There are harbor tours that last only one hour, and those that last two or more hours.
The North Bay harbor tour usually includes views of the North Island Naval Air Station, Harbor and Shelter islands. If you are lucky you might glimpse a pod of whales on the way past the Naval Sub Base. This one even takes visitors past the Carrillo National Monument.
The South Bay harbor tours show off the Star of India and U.S. Navy surface fleet. Guests get to see the Coronado Bay Bridge and the shipyards.
